Chicken Burgers

Method

  • Put chicken breasts and salt in food processor, pulse a few times.
  • Add in breadcrumbs and egg, pulse a few times again. (May not need the egg if its quite a wet mixture)
  • Make into burger shapes.

  • Mix paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper with the breadcrumbs for covering.

  • Dip burgers into flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.

  • Shallow fry in oil for about 15 minutes.

  • Cut sesame seed buns open and put burger in then put lettuce, sliced tomato and mayonnaise on top.

    • I'm sure chicken or turkey mince would work absolutely fine...as for cleaning, i couldn't live without my dishwasher!

    • Looks easy enough, don't fancy cleaning the food processor after though! Would it work as well with chicken mince? Thanks for the recipe xXx

    • CHICKEN BURGER
    • 3-4 chicken breasts (or about 500g turkey mince)
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ½ cup breadcrumbs
    • 1 egg
    • FOR BREADING THE BURGERS
    •  plate of flour
    •  bowl of eggs beaten
    •  plate of breadcrumbs
    • ½ tsp paprika
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    •  salt and pepper
    • TO SERVE
    • 4 sesame seed buns
    •  iceberg lettuce
    •  tomatoes
    •  mayonnaise
