Elizabeth's Orange Cake
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 6oz self-raising flour
- 4tablespoons milk
- 6oz sugar
- 4oz margarine
- 1 orange
- 3tablespoons icing sugar
Method
- 1. Grate orange
2. Squeeze the juice and put it aside
3. Mix all ingredients together, except juice and icing sugar
4. Pour mixture into a non-stick cake tin
5. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes
6. Melt icing sugar and juice together
7. After baking, prick cake and pour on the liquid. Leave to cool in the tin and remove when cold.
