Method

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5. Reduce the heat by 20° if using a fan-assisted electric oven.
  • 2. Cut the broccoli into even-sized florets. Cook in boiling, salted water or steam until just tender.
  • 3. Arrange the broccoli and chicken pieces in an ovenproof dish.
  • 4. In a jug, mix together the Heinz Cream of Chicken Soup, the double cream and the hot curry powder.
  • 5. Pour the mixture over the chicken and broccoli and grate the cheese over the top of the dish.
  • 6. Cook in the centre of the oven for approximately 50 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (the juices will run clear) and the top is beginning to brown.

    • basically you need to use 4 heaped table spoons of real mayo and 4 of fresh double cream and a half to a full tea spoon of curry combined with the cream of chicken soup or condensed chicken soup is better for a thicker sauce
