Sticky Sweet Chicken

The Basics

Ingredients

  • 8 chicken legs
  • 2 tbs Honey
  • 1clove garlic (Crushed)
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp light soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree

Method

Mix together the honey, garlic, ginger and soya sauce with teh tomato puree.

Marinade the chicken in this sauce inthe fridge for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200C (the chicken can also be grilled or Bar B-Q'd)

Cook until brown, approx 30 mins, turning over half way through cooking, baste with the extra marinade as it cooks.

To check if chicken is cooked, pierce with a sharp knife. Ii is properly cooked when clear juices come out it. If it slightly pink keep on cooking it and turn regularly.
