Method
Heat oven to 160oC, grease a couple of baking trays. Get piping bag with star nozel ready.
Cream marg and sugar together until lighter in colour.
Beat flour in a bit at a time.
Add vanilla essence.
Put mixture in piping bag and pipe onto baking tray in spirals, leaving enough room between them for spreading out while cooking.
Bake in oven for about 15 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
Meanwhile melt chocolate in bowl over pot with just simmering water.
Once biscuits are cooled dip half in the melted chocolate.
Tips
- You can use self raising flour in this recipe but the biscuits will be softer and not so crunchy.

- 175g plain flour
- few drops vanilla essence
- chocolate for decorating
