Scalloped Potatoes

Method

  • 1. Layer potatoes and onions in a casserole dish.
  • 2. Mix soup, milk, and salt and pepper. Pour over top the potatoes. Sprinkle with sage.
  • 3. Cover and bake at 375 degrees F. for about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes, until potatoes are cooked. Remove cover for the last 10 minutes.

    • As I'm not a mad fan of Mushrooms, could one use cream of chicken soup or maybe veg soup as an alternative?

    Ingredients

    • 4 cups  thinly sliced potatoes
    • 1 cup  thinly sliced onions
    • 1 can Heinz Mushroom Soup
    • ½ cup milk
    • to taste salt and pepper
    • ½ tsp. sage
