Method

  • Fry the mushrooms and onions in butter until soft and golden brown. Add the mushroom soup and if too thin, add cornflour to thicken, to make a thick sauce. Meantime, cook vol-au-vent cases as per instructions. When cooked add the mushroom sauce and serve as a lovely canape or starter.
  • Tips

    • One packet of the vol-au-ents has 36 so only use as mmany as you need.

    • 250 gm mushrooms sliced
    • 1 large onion. chopped
    • 1 pkt Jus-rol vol-au vent cases frozen
    • 1 oz butter
    • 1 can Heinz Condensed Mushroom Soup
    • 1 or 2 spoons cornflour
