Banana Pasty

Method

  • You need a lump of pastry about the size of a tennis ball.
  • 1. Pin out pastry into a disc.
  • 2. Peel and slice banana down length
  • 3. Place on pastry, drizzle with syrup and dust with cinnamon.
  • 4. Seal into a parcel like a Cornish pasty.
  • 5. Bake until golden brown.
  • Tips

    • One pasty will just about serve two people. If you've enough pastry and bananas make more!
Serve with squirty cream or custard. Kiddies love it (well mine do , anyway).

If you're out of maple syrup brown sugar will do the job equally well.

    Ingredients

    •  short crust pastry
    • 1 Banana
    • drizzle of maple syrup
    • pinch Ground Cinnamon
