Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375F/190C/Gas Mark 5.
  • 2. In a bowl beat together butter and icing sugar until pale and creamy.
  • 3. Stir in flour and ginger,mixing thoroughly.
  • 4. Place mixture in a piping bag fitted with a 1/2in star nozzle.Pipe mixture,on to a lightly greased baking sheet,in a variety of shapes.
  • 5. Bake it in a pre-heated oven for 20 minutes,until golden brown.
  • 6. Leave on baking sheet for 5 minutes before cooling on a wire tray.
  • 7. Serve dusted with icing sugar.

    • 8 oz butter
    • 2 oz Icing Sugar Sieved
    • 8 oz plain flour
    • 1 ½ tsp ground ginger
