Method

  • 1. Whip egg whites stiffy in a bowl.
  • 2. Fold in sugar,flour,ground almonds and chopped almonds.Fold in melted butter.
  • 3. Put teaspoonfuls of mixtureon to a baking sheet lined with the Baking Parchment.
  • 4. Bake it on 300F/150C/Gas Mark 2 until golden brown.Cool on wire rack.
  • When cold,coat one side with melted milk chocolate and allow to set.
  • Pipe fine strands across biscuits with melted plain chocolate.

    • these are more complicated than they sound! i recommend placing the teaspoonfuls on the baking tray very far apart as the mixture spreads and you'll end up with one massive biscuit!

    • 1 oz plain flour
    • 2 oz ground almonds
    • 1 oz almonds.chopped
    • 1 oz butter.melted
    •  Bakewell Baking Parchment

    •  Milk chocolate.melted
    •  Plain chocolate.melted
