Method

  • 1. Cream butter and icing sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  • 2. Sieve together flour,cornflour and drinking chocolate.Beat in gradually.
  • 3. Beat in essence,and beat until mixture is soft enough to pipe.
  • 4. Using a large star nozzle,pipe into oval shapes measuring about 2 inches by 1 inch on to a baking sheet lined with Baking Parchment.
  • 5. Bake at 425F/220C/Gas Mark 7 for 6 minutes.
  • Reduce temperature to 350F/180C/Gas Mark 4 for further 6 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack.Then dust with icing sugar.

    • 1 oz cornflour
    • 1 oz Drinking Chocolate
    • few drops Vanilla essence
    •  Bakewell Baking Parchment
    •  Icing Sugar to dust
