The Basics

  • Dish: Appetizers and Starters

Ingredients

  • 2oz Tomato
  • 1 Shredded Lettuce
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 lbs White Skinned Filleted Fish i.e (Haddock)
  • a dash of Tobasco
  • 4oz Mayonnaise
  • a pinch of Salt and Pepper

Method

1. Boil the fish with an onion, salt and pepper (for about 10 to 15 minutes), drain and let it go cold.
2. Flake the fish.
3. Mix the other ingredients together to make a "Thousand Island" sauce and cover the fish. 4. Serve in individual bowls on top of shredded lettuce.
