Ingredients

  • 2-3 Onions
  • 2-3 cups Gram flour
  • handful Fenugreek leaves
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Cumin ground
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • For Deep Frying Oil

Method

Cut onions in half and thinly slice same with tomatoes, chop fenugreek leaves, add all ingredients into a bowl and mix with water to form a thick batter. leave to stand for 5 mins.

Warm oil to medium heat and add spoonfuls of the bhaji mix to fry in deep oil, hopefully to form round balls!!!! once golden brown on slow-medium heat, remove and serve with ketchup or chutney :)

PS:- oil temperature has to be right and in control as if not then the bhajis can be left uncooked inside :)
