1. Preheat oven at 175 C. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
2. Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat. Cream butter and sugar. Add melted chocolate chips and vanilla, beat in eggs, add flour mixture and remaining chocolate chips.
3. Wrap in GladWrap and freeze until firm (about 20 minutes).
4. Make small balls of the dough and roll in confectioners' sugar. Place on an oven tray that is lined with baking paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack.
Hi Vicki It is a good idea to flatten the balls of dough with something like a fork before putting them into the oven. It depends how big or small you make the biscuits, so I'm sorry but I'm not exactly sure about how many biscuits the recipe makes. Thanks, Sugarkate.
Hello Sugarkate This sounds delicious. Do the balls of dough melt into a biscuit shape or should I squash them first? How many biscuits does this make? Many thanks Vicki
