Method

  • 1. crush the biscuits in a big bowl, to very fine crumbs.
  • 2. melt the butter in a large pan, then add the syrup and cocoa powder.
  • 3. when its melted add the biscuit crumbs and mix together,( if its very dry add more melted butter).
  • 4. put the mixture in a square shallow dish, leaving enough room on the top to add the chocolate.
  • 5. melt the chocolate and smooth over the biscuit base.
  • put in the fridge untill its set.
  • 6. cut into squares and enjoy!

    • 1 packet digestive biscuits
    • 1 packet cooking chocolate
    • ½ slab Butter
    • 4 table spoons golden syrup
    • 2 table spoons cocoa powder

    i first made this when i was a brownie, some 30 years ago, its a childhood memory and it tastes just scrumptious!!
