Method

  • I make this to serve 3 people. Peel the potato's and cut into piece as if you are going to prepare mash. Add the potato's to a pan of boiling water, simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Pre heat the oven at Gas 4, 350f
  • Grease an oven proof dish with butter and preheat the dish in the oven.
  • Prepare the white sauce mix as discribed on the packet, put to one side for a few moments keeping it warm.
  • prepare the garlic, I have a gadget that almost turns it into a paste, add the garlic to the white sauce and stir in.
  • Grater the cheese and set aside.
  • Stain the water out of the patato, put the part cooked potato pieces into the oven proof dish, pour over the white sauce and sprinkle the cheese over the top. Place in the center of the oven on a baking sheet as the sauce can come over the top. Cook for 40 minutes or until the potato's are completely cooked and the cheese has browned on top. Serve with your favorite meat dish.
