Sausage and Mash with Red Wine and Onion Sauce

Method

  • Boil the potatoes until soft. Whilst the potatoes are busy boiling lightly fry bthe sausages on a medium heat. Chop the onion and bacon.Crush the garlic cloves and add together into pan once the sausages are nearly cooked through. Add the red wine. Serve with the mash potato. Enjoy!
  • Tips

    • On occasions I have added thyme for a slightly more rustic taste

    • 5/6 Potatoes for mashing
    • 8 sausages of your choice
    • 1 onion finely diced
    • 3 bacon. chopped
    • 2 garlic cloves. crushed
    • 100ml Red wine

    This recipe is for those whom like good wholesome no messing food that is easy and quick to cook and good on a budget. Reminds me of my uni days!
