My Mother's Stuffed Red Peppers (Hungarian Style)

Method

  • Cut the peppers in half lengthways and remove the seeds and core. Fill each half with a mixture of the meat, rice, egg, parsley and crushed garlic.
  • Place the peppers in a greased dish and cover each one with a couple of sliced tomatoes.
  • Pour over the sour cream and bake.
  • Ingredients

    • 6 large peppers
    • 1 lb cooked beef mince
    • 5 oz cooked rice
    • 1 egg
    • some chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 clove of garlic - crushed [optional]
    • some sliced tomatoes
