Method

  • cream the marg and sugar together, then add the egg and vanilla essence mix together, then fold in the cocoa powder and plain flour to the mixture, put the mixture in to a shallow tin, press down and sprinkle sugar on top. bake in a warm oven at 160c for approx 1 hour. once removed then cut into squares.
  • Ingredients

    • 300grams marg
    • 300grams granulated sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 35 grams cocoa powder
    • 400 grams plain flour
