Follow this recipe to the point where you have added the marmite, but then put it in a liquidiser, reduce it to mush, and pour it down the toilet - cuts out the vomiting stage! ;-)

Make that crunchy peanut butter and slice a banana on top. Heaven!

I tried this one out at a dinner party last week but my "toast" came out all black on one side and looked raw on the other. Am I missing a step or something?
My dinner party guests didn't mention that it was clearly over cooked and politely ate it all up, and begged me to share the recipe with them. I will certainly be trying this one again, hopefully with better results.

Can toast be eaten raw or is it always better to eat cooked?

Do you have any recommendations for bread to use, thickness etc? I'd definitely suggest peanut butter, if you're feeling a bit adventurous, you could add some jam too!

Fantasitc dish, the use of lard is so inventive. I add a bit of boiled brown fish, for that extra touch.
