" A stir fry way to use all the old veg at the bottom of your firdge and can be combined with chicken, prawns, beef or pork "

The Basics

  • Dish: Main Course
  • cuisine: Chinese
  • Serves: 2
  • Prep Time: 0hrs 5 mins
  • Cooking Time: 0hrs 14 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Pepper (Any colour)
  • 1 Spring Onion
  •  Chinese Five Spice
  • to taste Sweet Chilli Sauce
  •  Soy Sauce
  • Handful Mushrooms
  • 1 Packet of straigh to wok noodles
  •  Fresh Ginger (optional)
  • ½ Lemon/ lime

Method

Chop the onion and garlic and add to a hot lightly oiled wok or frying pan. Keep the hob on a medium to hot setting throughout.
Stir in the veg as detailed above but really any veg will work. Add 1 table spoon of chinese five spice. If you would like to add ginger, grate into the dish about 1/4 teaspoonful.
If you are adding any meat slice it into very thin strips. Add the meat and continue to cook. Do not add prawns until two minutes before the end.
After the veg starts to slightly soften and the meat turns a more golden colour add sweet chilli sauce, lime/ lemon juice and soy sauce.
Add the noodles and serve in a large bowl.
