Method

  • 1)put the oven to warm at 160 degrees
  • 2 mix the milk, flour, butter and egg yolks in a sauspan over a medium heat until lump free, leave to cool.
  • 3) beat the egg whites in a seperate bowl.
  • 4)wisk the egg white and milk, flour, butter and egg yolks.
  • 5)gently fry onion/bacon/cheese/left overs.(optional, feel free to mix and match)
  • 6) add your chosen ingedients into the mixture (add the smoked salmon now)
  • 7)pour and cook into a greesed and lined ramikin.
  • 8)if your making as a burger half full ramikin.
  • if your making a sort of souffle then fill 3/4
  • 9) cook for half an hour, leave to cool before serving and enjoy.
  • It wont rise much anyway, dont worry it doesnt need too it makes it into a perfect burger.
  • Tips

    • its perfect because you can est it in any way, burgers, souffle, like scambled eggs on toast,a sweet or savoury muffin or dumplings in beef and bear or caserole.

    • i haven't named it yet because i sort of invented it today and it doesnt really fit into any catagory because it can be savoury or sweet, as a burger, souffle type thing, if stired while heating it makes a good sause or curry thing so i have no idea what to call it, any ideas then i'll be greatful

    Ingredients

    • OPTIONALS
    • 40g butter or margarine
    • 40g plain flour
    • 200ml milk
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 onion finely diced
    • 1 pack fresh bacon bits (the chunks of bacon)
    • 50g cheese. grated
    • 1 pack smoked salmon diced
    •  any roast left overs
    • 3 basil leaves
    • 3tbsp cocoa powder
