Ingredients
- CHICKEN SOUP
- 8 Chicken thighs
- 2 onions
- 1 celery
- 2 potatoes
- 5 Carrots Peeled and Chopped
- barley
- spaghetti
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bay leaf
Method
- 1.use a big soup pot place a little oil and seal the chicken till golden then fill the 3/4 with water add a whole onion and bring to boil then simmer for 2 hours.skim any white from top of boiling water
2.after 2 hours chop all the vegetables and add them to the pot along with peeled garlic cloves just crush them slightly.cook for another 30 mins.
3.add your barley and spaghetti with the spaghetti grab a bunch and snap it into 3 and once the barley and pasta is cooked your ready to serve.
also you can remove the chicken and strip all the meat and return it to the pot to make it look cleaner
Tips
- you can use rice instead of barley also you can crack and drop eggs into poach 15 min before finished cooking
