Method

  • 1. Mix together everything but the oil in a large bowl with a generous amount of seasoning. Shape into 4 large patties.

  • 2. Fry them in the oil for 3-5 minutes each side until just cooked through. Check done by sliding tip of knife into each one - done when it comes out hot.

  • 3. Serve in a bun with your choice of extras!

    • 500g lean steak mince
    • 1 onion. large. grated
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp cumin seeds
    • 2-4 red chillis. finely chopped
    • splash oil for frying
