If using fresh pears, then de-core, peel and boil for around 10 mins in water and sugar.
If using tin pears then warm through
Wash lettuce and arrange on your plate in whole leaves
Place pears on top of lettuce and add a little juice
Grate stilton cheese and walnuts and sprinkle over pears
