Chocolate Brownies


Mix all ingredients in the order given.

Bake at 180'c gas mark 4 for 20-30 minutes in a greased rectangular bakin tin (23x33cm).

Cool, then slice into equal square Portions.


Baking Powder ½ Tsp
Salt ½ Tsb
Plain Flour 225g
Eggs 4
Vanilla Essence 1tsp
Cocoa Powder 60g
Butter (melted) 225g
Golden Caster Sugar (or Plain Caster Sugar If You Haven't Got It) 400g
Walnuts Chopped 60g

Hints 'n' Tips

You can also put some icing sugar on top of your brownies. Goes great with some cream on the side.
