Creamy Mash Potato with Bacon & Cheese
Ingredients
- 6 Large potatoes
- 45g Butter
- 100 ml Milk (and/or cream)
- 6 Bacon rashers grilled
- 200g Cheddar Cheese grated
- 6 Spring onions sliced
- ground black pepper, Salt &
Method
- Peel the potatoes and boil for about 20 mins.
Meanwhile, grill the bacon rashers and then cut into smaller pieces.
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain and then return to the pan. Mash while adding the milk/cream, butter, spring onions, salt & pepper.
Fold in the bacon pieces and cheese. Serve garnished with sliced spring onions.
