  • My grandma made this lasagne and taught my mum. Now, my sister is the queen of the lasagne as we have it every saturday.

    Ingredients

    Method

    • 1. melt some butter in a pan. add the plain flour and mix well. gradually add the milk until you get as much sauce as you need. leave on heat until thickened. add some grated cheese.
      2. cook the courgettes, then season the mince and brown it in the pan. once cooked, add the tomato sauce and warm through.
      3. assemble the lasagne. in a dish put some mince, then cover with lasagne sheets. add white sauce, then mince, then sheetsfor as many layers as necessary. add final layer of white sauce, and sprinkle some grated cheese on top.
      4. bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes or until browned on top.

     

    Tips

    • Make sure you have a nice and thick white sauce and don't forget to season that meat!!!
      Putting courgettes in is a good way of hiding veg for you children to eat!!!
