Method

  • 1 Put all ingredients , except flour & oil
  • into a large bowl , & mix thoroughly., then place into 'fridge for 30 minutes.
  • 2 shape into meatballs & roll in flour.
  • 3 Heat oil in frying - pan then cook meatballs for 10 mins , or until cooked through.
  • 4 Serve with Greek Salad & tsatziki & a splash of lemon juice

  • 5 For a change , when the keftedes are nearly ready
  • pour over a jar of your favourite pasta sauce , heat
  • through & serve with pasta
  • Tips

    • 1 Try this mixture to make Burgers , Barbecue
      or grill & serve on a burger bun with lettuce tomato & tsatziki.
      2 For a change add 1 dessertspoon fresh chopped mint to the mixture as well as the parsley & dried oregano

    Ingredients

    • 500 grm  minced beef
    •  fresh breadcrumbs made from 2 rounds thick sliced white bread
    • 1 Onion finely chopped
    • 1 medium egg
    • 1 tbspn chopped flat leaved parsley
    • 1 tspn dried oregano
    •  salt and black pepper to taste
    •  Flour for dusting
    • 1 tbspn olive oil to fry
    • OPTIONAL
    • 1 Jar tomato pasta sauce
