Leftover Gammon Pasta

Method

  • Cook the pasta and meanwhile
  • Cook the garlic in a pan of boiling water for 4 minutes. Drain and toss into a large non-stick frying pan with the butter and olive oil and cook over a low heat until golden.
  • Add the spinach and cook until it begins to wilt, add the crème fraiche and chopped gammon. Bring to the boil, season wih pepper and toss into the cooked pasta. Serve in a bowl with grated cheese.

    • 400g tagliatelle
    • 5 garlic cloves peeled but whole
    • 25g butter
    • 1 tblsp olive oil
    • 200g spinach leaves washed
    • 3 tblsp creme fraiche
    • 250g leftover gammon. chopped
    •  black pepper
    •  hard cheese. grated

    Hardly a cherished recipe (sorry if I am mis-using this site), just quick and easy and good for using up bits from a gammon joint!
