Spinach and Cheese Bake
Ingredients
- 4 bunches spinach
- 1 bag of grated mature cheese
- mixed herbs
- black pepper
- 1 Large Chopped Onion
Method
- blanch the spinach for about 1 min in boiling water Drain and leave to go cold.
preheat oven to 250 c
add a layer in a baking tray (the type you would use for lasagne or shepherds pie)
sprinkle plenty of cheese over the spinach.
sprinkle chopped onion over the cheese.
sprinkle mixed herbs and pepper evenly over the cheese and onion
add another layer of spinach
repeat earlier steps with cheese, onion, herbs and pepper
add another layer of spinach
repeat earlier steps with cheese, onion, herbs and pepper
put in oven for 10 mins or until cheese has started to brown
