  • 1. Add all ingredients to the mince and mix well.
  • 2. Mould the meat around the skewers and squeeze the meat tightly to hold firmly in place.
  • 3. Put skewers into the grill for 15 minutes rotating ever 5 minutes.
  • 4. Remove from skewers and garnish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon juice on top!
  • Tips

    • These Sheesh Kebabs work really well on the barbecue as well.


    • 500 gram minced lamb
    • 1 chopped onion
    • 1 tsp Ginger paste
    • 1tsp Garlic paste
    • 1 tsp Green chilli paste
    • tsp salt
    • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
    • 1 handfull Fresh Coriander
    • 1 Lemon. quatered

    At primary school for our Christmas party, everyone had to bring a dish. My mum made sheesh kebabs. My teacher loved them and you will too.
