- Some people may wish to add salt. I leave that out as I dont like it but many people are used to having very salty food.
A good tip for this recipe which I've done many times before is to not over stir the rice as it becomes stodgy and ends up being very gooey!

Really quick and easy and delicious to boot, much healthier than the takeaway version but just as nice and just as quick! I used Gammon instead of the ham and added chicken to bulk it out, just fry it off first... worked really well!
