Method
1. Preheat oven to 180 deg C (Gas 4)
2. Grease a loaf tin.
3. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
4. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar
until light and fluffy.
5. Add the dry ingredients and beat in (it will
be quite dry and crumbly)
6. Stir in the eggs then fold in the bananas and
optional walnuts.
7. Spread the batter into the tin and bake for 50
minutes until a skewer in the middle comes out
clean.
Ingredients
- 185g plain flour
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 75g butter
- 120g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas. mashed
- 50g walnuts. chopped (optional)
