Method

  • 1. Mix the egg yolks with the cream then add the sugar and Cognac.
  • 2. Beat well then place the bowl in a pan of hot water and stir until thickened.

    • This recipe can also be made lowcarb if the sugar is substituted by a 'legal' artificial sweetener, so will be useful for a lowcarber like me!

      BTW did you really mean 8 hrs cooking time?
