Method

  • Mix the all bran, sugar and dried fruit - stir in the milk and leave to stand for one hour.

  • Sieve in the flour and mix well.

  • Pour into a well greased 1 pound loaf tin.

  • Bake at 180 degrees for 1.5 hours.

  • Allow to cool.

    • 1 heaped teacup all-bran
    • 1 heaped teacup caster sugar
    • 1 heaped teacup mixed dry fruit
    • 1 heaped teacup milk
    • 1 heaped teacup self raising flour
