Method

  • 1. Cream margarine and sugar until fluffy
  • 2. Beat in eggs one at a time adding a little flour gradually
  • 3. Seperate mixture into two 18cm cake or sandwich tins
  • 4. Bake on middle shelf at Gas mark 4 for 20-25 minutes
  • 5. When cakes have cooled fill with jam and dust with icing sugar

    • 100g self raising flour
