Method

  • 1)Get an ovenproof dish and pour your filling into it.
  • 2)Together,crumble the margarine/butter and flour,with the tips of your fingers,until it looks like breadcrumbs.
  • 3)Pour the mixture over the top of the filling (make sure it fills the whole dish).
  • 4)Sprinkle the sugar over the top.
  • 5)Turn the oven to 180 degrees.Gas mark 4-5.
  • 6)Bake for 35 minutes.
  • 7)Leave to cool.Then serve with custard or ice cream.
  • Ingredients

    • 100g plain flour
    • 75g margarine/butter
    • 50g brown sugar
    • 1 can Hartley's Apple and Blackberry filling
