Rudolf very kindly leaves these for my kids on Christmas Eve...
My children love making and eating these balls and often use a combination of different types of chocolate. You are supposed to refrigerate them, but they seldom last that long...

ooo lovely!I make a very similar sweetie to this but with cranberries which is really lovely and extra festive! We also make them without the fruit but with orange rind to get that Terry's chocolate orange feel. Great to add with homemade truffles too, to bulk them out with something quick, easier and cheaper to make!

Mine didn't look like the photo, but I made them just before christmas and we LOVED them!!!!! I did especially!!! There is a really nice combination of flavours, with the rich teas and chocolate etc. They were quite quick to make too. I will DEFINITELY be making these again next Christmas!!!! Ps I used 6 round rich teas.

Thank you so much for this recipe - it took less than 30 mins from start to finish. My kitchen is quite chilly and I used 50/50 milk and plain chocolate so I only had to wait 10 minutes un-refridgated to start moulding these. I used a mini scoup (like a tiny ice-cream scoup) which was perfect. I had thought about making different combos such as mini marshmallows/glace cherries/raisins, etc. - but the original recipe is great as it is. One batch fills a 1-litre jar (£1 from the supermarket) - brilliant Christmas pressies at less than £2 a batch (depending on cost of chocolate used).

These sound great! I am off to visit my neice and nephew this weekend with my step children and I will take this recipe and ingredients with me for them to do together. Fab, thank you.
