Method

  • This is a great sauce, dip, side-dish, starter (if you chuck some feta on the top) anda couple of grilled peppers on the side) whatever you want. Blokie says it also goes well with fish and can be had with chips as a sort of mushy peas. Also, can be made in seconds from store cupboard stuff.

  • Cook peas (I microwave them in a little water for 4 mins). Drain, add, mint sauce, yoghurt, garlic and sugar. Blend to a chuny paste (if ou want runnier for a dip or sauce add some water). Can ve eaten either hot or cold.
  • Ingredients

    • 1 handful frozen or fresh peas
    • 1 teaspoon mint sauce or fresh mint (if using fresh mint you will need to also use a teaspoon of vinegar and a teasppon of sugar)
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 1 cloves garlic- peeled and finely chopped
    • 2 tablespoons natural yogurt
