Method

  • 1. Saute onion in butter until nice and soft.

  • 2. Add remaining ingredients, except cornstarch. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.

  • 3. Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water and add to ragout. Simmer 5 minutes longer.

    • 2 Onions. sliced
    • 3 tbsp. Butter
    • 1 Bouillon cube
    • 2 cup Water
    • 350g Leftover roast beef. cooked and cubed
    • 1 Lemon slice
    • 15 Prunes
    • 1 tsp. Salt
    • 1 tbsp. Cornstarch
    • 2 cup Carrots. sliced
    • 350g potatoes. diced

    Very yammy, quick casserole. Great on cold winter nights.
