Method

  • 1. Place all the ingredients into a mixer.

  • 2. Mix to soft dough and knead for 5-10 minutes.


  • 3. Roll the dough out to make 2 large circle.

  • 4. Place the cheese and pears in the centre, wet the edges and flip one half of the dough over to form a semi circle, seal the edges and brush with egg.

  • 5. Leave to prove until double in size.

  • 6. Bake at 190°C/fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 for 30 minutes.

    • 800g White Bread Flour
    • 200g Clover Butter Melted
    • 2 tsp. Sea Salt
    • 4 Eggs
    • 50g Sugar
    • 400 ml Milk
    • 4 Pears Peeled And Cut Into Small Cubes
    • 300g Stilton Cheese Cut Into Small Cubes
    • 1 sachet Easy Bake Yeast
    • 1 Egg
