Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350° F (180° C). Heat half the oil over medium-high heat. Add onions, peppers and half of the salt and pepper. Cook, stirring for 5 minutes or until tender.

  • 2. Add remaining oil to pan. Cut chicken into strips and place into the pan then add garlic, chili powder and remaining salt and pepper. Simmer until brown for about 5 minutes. Add all of the ketchup. Bring to a simmer.

  • 3. Serve meat and vegetable mixtures with tortillas and bowls of remaining chili sauce, cheese, lettuce and sour cream to make your own fajitas.

  • 4. Try using Heinz Twisted Ketchup as an alternative to salsa to give your Fajitas a twist of heat.
  • Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp. Vegetable oil
    • 2 Onions. sliced
    • 2 Sweet peppers. sliced
    • 0.5 tsp each Salt and pepper
    • 4 Chicken breasts
    • 2 Cloves garlic. crushed
    • 2 tsp. Chilli powder
    • 2 tbsp. Heinz Tomato Ketchup
    • 6 Large flour tortillas. warmed
    • 1.5 cup Grated cheddar cheese
    • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
    • 150 ml Low-fat sour cream
