Method

  • 1. steam the salmon (You can do this by making a foil parcel with a tiny bit of oil and some salt and pepper in the oven)

  • 2. Put the linguine on to boil in some salted water.

  • 3. Fry the onion, don't brown it. Once cooked add the creme fraiche, the zest of the lemon and the horseradish..

  • Let simmer for 4 or 5 mins.

  • 4. Add the salmon broken up into pieces, the prawns and some chopped parslet.

  • Season and mix in well.

  • 5. Drain the linguine then toss through the creme fraich/ salmon mix and add some lemon juice.

  • Plate up and serve with some crusy bread or spinach... Oh and of course a large glass of crisp, cold white wine

    • Hey Lyndsey,Yeah definitely try the different herbs, cooking is all about changing recipes to suit what you like. I'm not a massive horseradish fan either but it did add a nice flavour to the recipe. You could always add less if you decide you wont like it :) x

    • Im really curious about the Horseradish. Does it give it a kick? Also i'm not a fan of parsley but think Dill goes with Salmon. You think that'll be ok?

I used to order this all the time when we went out for dinner but never attempted to make it before.

I read lots of recipes and combined all my face bits to make this one!!
