Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 2 cooking apples
  • 90g butter
  • 3 tbsp light muscavado sugar
  • 5 tbsp caster sugar

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200C

    Peel, core and chop the apples into small cubes. Place at the bottom of an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle over 2 of the tablespoons of caster sugar.

    Rub together the remaining sugars, flour and butter until the mixture starts to look like breadcrumbs.

    Sprinkle the crumble mixture over the apples.

    Bake in the oven for 20 minutes, or until golden on top.

    Delicious served with vanilla ice cream!
