Method

  • 1. Heat oven to 350°.

  • 2. Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then saute the onion. Then add the sliced meat, potato, carrot and garlic. Fry them for a couple of minutes.

  • 2. Sprinkle flour over turkey mixture, cook and stir 1 minute longer.

  • 3. Pur the mixture in a casserole dish, stir in chicken broth, wine, thyme, and pepper. Add sliced mushrooms.

  • 4. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Stir in parsley.

    • 1.5 pound Turkey breast
    • 3 tbsp. Sunflower oil
    • 8 Potatoes. unpeeled. cubed
    • 4 Carrots. sliced ½-inch thick
    • 1 cup Onion. chopped
    • 4 Garlic cloves. minced
    • 2 tsp. Flour
    • 2 cups Chicken broth
    • 1 cup Dry red wine
    • 1 tsp. Dried thyme leaves
    • 1 tsp. Pepper
    • 200g Mushrooms. sliced
    • 0.5 cup Fresh parsley. chopped
