    Ingredients

    • 175g pouch Maltesers
    • 200 ml Whipping cream
    • 200g Fresh raspberries
    • 50g Dark chocolate. broken into squares

    Method

    1. Melt the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl over simmering (but not boiling) water. The bottom of the bowl should not be touching the water. Remove from the heat once the chocolate has just melted.

    2. Meanwhile, crush up the Maltesers thoroughly inside their bag. You may need to apply a rolling pin or the bottom of a tin or bottle in order to get a good mixture of ‘well crushed’ and chunks.

    3. Next whisk the cream in a large bowl until soft peaks have formed. At this point add the raspberries and the crushed Maltesers, before folding gently to create a rippled effect. Don’t mix too well or you will loose the different colours.

    4. Dish up into four bowls, before drizzling over the melted chocolate.

    5. Finally garnish with a little crushed up Maltesers before serving immediately.

    • I made this at the weekend, but instead of chocolate sauce I used raspberry ripple sauce - it was delicious! Thanks for the inspiration!

    • I'd make an ice cream version of this as I don't like cream AT ALL. But a nice dish overall. I love Maltesers.
