mix everything togethor in a large bowl,grease and line a 2lb loaf tin, pour the mixture into the tin, sprinkle caster sugar over the top and bake in the oven for 50-55 mins.
NOTES-- use splashes of milk to help loosen the mixture as your stirring it to mix, all flour is different and will absorb different amounts of liquid, dont worry so long as the batter is quite thick and easy to spoon into the tin, once cooked allow to cool for ten mins before removing from the tin and placing on a wire rack.
