Method
To make pastry combine butter and sugar and the egg then add the flour to make a dough. Knead it into a ball and put in the fridge for an hour
Roll out the dough as thin as you can and cut circles with a glass and put into the bottom of 12 hole pastry tin (I line them with paper cases
Bake for 10 mins on high and then leave to cool.
menawhile chop the pecans and then put butter and sugar into a saucepan and dissolve the sugar and then add the pecans
When the tarts are cooled, spoon in pecan mixture into tarts and leave to set
