Preheat oven to 175'C. Spray a 22cm square cake tin with oil.
Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and a large pinch of salt together in a large bowl. Add brown sugar and combine. Set aside.
Mix sour cream, oil and apple sauce together in a small bowl. Combine sour cream mixture with flour mixture and gently fold. Do not over beat.
Spoon mixture into a prepared tin. Bake in oven for 45 - 50 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow cake to cool before serving.
